    What a sponsor should understand

A Spons profile is closer to a simple media kit than a social feed. Someone opening your link should be able to answer a few questions quickly.

    Who you are

Name, photo, sport, club, location, and a short introduction. Enough for someone opening your link to know who they are looking at.

    What you have done

Achievements, results, rankings, and career highlights, in one place instead of spread across social posts and PDFs.

    Where you are going

Your level, goals, and upcoming competitions, so a sponsor can see what you are working toward.

    What you need

Describe the support you are looking for, such as travel, equipment, fees, or a local partner, and what a sponsor may receive in return.

    Support from anyone

Companies are not the only audience. Fans, friends, family, and a local community can use the same page to understand how to help.

    An easy way to reply

A clear contact path, with email, social links, and a website, so a sponsor does not have to hunt for how to reach you.

    Guidance included

    We will also explain sponsoring

A profile is easier to write when you know what sponsors look for. Spons will share straightforward information about sponsoring, so you do not need to be an expert to ask for support.

    What support usually covers

Travel, competition fees, equipment, coaching, training, accommodation, and team costs. Clear examples of what athletes actually need money for.

    How to describe your ask

Main sponsor, equipment, travel, a local business, or financial support. How to say what you need without turning it into a stiff proposal.

    What you can offer back

Logo placement, social posts, event exposure, content, and appearances. Ideas you can use, without being locked into fixed packages.

    How to approach people

Practical notes on reaching companies, local businesses, fans, and other supporters, and why one link works better than a scattered email.

    Questions

A short version of what Spons is for right now.

    Getting started

    How do I get started?

Sign up, add a photo and a short introduction, then fill in your sport, achievements, and goals. You can publish a useful profile without writing a full sponsorship proposal.

    What should the profile include?

Who you are, your sport and level, what you have achieved, what you are working toward, the kind of support you need, and how someone can contact you.

Is it free to create a profile?

Yes. Creating and publishing your Spons profile is free. The first version is about presenting yourself and sharing one link.

    Sponsors and supporters

    Who is the profile for?

Potential sponsors and businesses, and also fans, friends, family, and a local community. Anyone who might want to help should be able to understand your page quickly.

Do I have to sell fixed sponsorship packages?

No. Describe what you need and what a sponsor may receive in return, in your own words. Structured packages can come later if they are useful.

Can people pay me through Spons?

Not in the first version. Your profile can explain how to support you and link out if you already have a way to receive help. Direct payments may be added later.

    Sponsoring guidance

Will Spons explain how sponsoring works?

Yes. Alongside the profile, we will share practical information about sponsoring: typical costs, how to describe what you need, what you can offer back, and how to approach sponsors and supporters.

    Do I need sponsorship experience?

No. The profile and the guidance are meant for athletes who have not done this before. You should be able to explain yourself clearly without hiring anyone.

Where do I share the link?

Anywhere you already talk to people: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, email, a QR code, or your own site. The point is one address instead of a folder of files.
